Going forward, every May the United States Postal Service plans on adjusting its rates. This year's changes will take effect on May 12, 2008.

Be prepared by purchasing "Forever" stamp books at the 41-cent price before the First Class rate increases to 42 cents per stamp. These "Forever" stamps, which depict the Liberty Bell, will be good for mailing one-ounce, First Class letters anytime in the future -- regardless of price changes. Stock up for your department or personal needs.
