Ithaca College

Ronald Nicoson, professor emeritus in the Park School of Communications, passed away Monday, March 17, after a long battle with cancer.

Professor Nicoson, who devoted 29 years to Ithaca College, was especially instrumental in developing the Department of Television-Radio and the original Department of Education Communication -- which eventually became Strategic Communication -- as well as the graduate program in communications. He taught advertising as well as many courses in video and audiovisual media production, and was a big supporter of our alumni.
