Vivian Bruce Conger, Department of History, presented "Constructing Rosie the Riveter: World War II, Women, and Propaganda" on Thursday, March 20, at the Chemung Valley Museum in Elmira, New York.

In a talk designed to celebrate Women's History Month, Conger used period images to analyze the U.S. government's campaign to entice women into a previously male-dominated work force.
