CPR/AED Class Offered April 12

The class is offered through the efforts of the Ithaca College AED Committee. This Adult CPR/AED class is available for immediate sign-ups.

There were two cancellations, so there are slots available for this class.

The class will be held Saturday, April 12, noon to 5:00 p.m. in Hill 53 for only $25. A check payable to Ithaca College or an Ithaca College account number (using subcode 7411) will be accepted. Julia Sterman will be your instructor.

You can sign up with Kathy Farley in the main office of the Fitness Center between 8:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. No e-mails will be accepted. We can only accept 10 people for the class.

Class Description

The purpose of the American Red Cross Adult CPR/AED course is to give individuals in the workplace the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize and provide care, perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) for victims of sudden cardiac arrest. The campus currently has 26 AEDs in various locations.
