Dan Isbell Recognized for Outstanding Dissertation

Assistant professor of music education Dan Isbell was recently awarded the 2006 Outstanding Dissertation in Music Education Award by the Council for Research in Music Education.

Last fall, he presented portions of this research at the New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA), the Symposium on Music Teacher Education (SMTE), and the Università degli Studi di Padova (Padova, Italy).

He will also be speaking at the second European Conference on Developmental Psychology of Music, Roehampton University, London, this coming fall.
