Looking for something to do the weekend before final exams? How about a chance to go for a long walk outdoors while providing a valuable service to the community and enjoying the company of a fun-loving group of others in this community?

Get involved in the Ithaca MS Walk on Sunday, May 4, 2008!

Raise money to help support those in the area with multiple sclerosis (MS) and join us for a 3 mile walk on a beautiful Sunday morning. Join the IC a Cure for MS Team as a walker or just volunteer your time to ensure that the walkers have a great experience.

If you’re interested in participating, contact Doreen Hettich-Atkins at dhettichatkins@ithaca.edu or via phone a 274-3374. Both walkers and volunteers are still needed.

For more information about MS, a debilitating disease of the nervous system that typically strikes young adults between the ages of 20 and 50, go to www.nmss.org.
