THANK YOU all that have donated so generously to the Ithaca College blood drives this school year.
Staff Council and the American Red Cross Club collected 533 blood donations, helping over 1,500 patients in our area -- and on April 10, we set a new record at Ithaca College by collecting a total of 150 units at one blood drive.
If you know anyone receiving chemotherapy, or who has had a premature baby that needed blood, or who has received blood this year for any other reason, it is very possible that the drives in Emerson Suites helped them.
With one in three people now needing blood at some point in their lives, our challenge to keep enough blood in stock for patients continues.
Thank you again for all your donation. We are grateful for every life you saved and look forward to seeing you on Wednesday, July 16, for our next blood drive.
