IC Student Receives Fulbright Grant

Suzanne Monaco '08 has been awarded a grant from the Fulbright Scholar Program, and will travel to Austria for the 2008-09 year.

She will be assigned to an Austrian secondary school in Bad Ischl, Upper Austria, where she will assist English teachers in classroom instruction. Suzanne is graduating IC this spring with a double major in mathematics and German, and plans a future career in education.

Bad Ischl lies in the middle of the Alps, and Suzanne is looking forward to improving her skiing "from downhill falling to a semblance of coordinated motion."
