Beginning in June 2008, faculty and staff who receive a new Windows computer through the Technology Renewal program will no longer be able to log into the computer using the generic "user" Novell account.

Please make sure you know your personal Novell user name and password before you receive your new computer. You will be required to log in with your personal account in order to use your new workstation.

If you do not have a Novell account or have forgotten your password, please contact the Helpdesk, helpdesk@ithaca.edu, 274-3282 or stop by 102 Muller Center.

This change does not affect Macintosh computers or computers located in eClassrooms.
