Wilde about Shakespeare

Contributed by Greg Bostwick on 05/01/08

There is still one more opportunity remaining this semester to witness the "Great Scenes from Great Plays" series offered by the Department of Theatre Art's Styles of Acting classes.

The Styles of Acting I and II classes will present their most recent work in a final free performance on Thursday, May 8, 7:30-9:00 p.m. in the Clark Theatre of Dillingham Center.

Each student in the Styles I class will present a speech from Shakespeare's Julius Caesar as well as speeches from Hamlet, As You Like It, and Love's Labor's Lost, among others. The Styles II students will present an extended scene from Oscar Wilde's The Importance of Being Earnest.

Admission is free. We hope you can join us for some or all of the fun!
