Srijana Bajracharya, associate professor in the Department of Health Promotion and Physical Education, presented a paper, entitled "Environmental Sustainability: An Ethical Response to Teaching Sustainable Health and Wellness," at the fourth International Conference on Health, Fitness, and Active Living in Athens, Greece, on May 9, 2008.

This paper was based on a class into which the topic of environmental sustainability was integrated as the result of the sustainability grant.

This international conference was organized by the Athens Institute for Education and Research. The participants represented several European countries, such as Germany, England, Italy, Sweden, Poland, Romania, and Croatia; Middle Eastern countries such as Jordan and Egypt; as well as Canada, Australia, and the United States.
