Lee is a junior in the School of Health Sciences and Human Performance (HSHP) with a major in sport management and minor in legal studies. He has served on the President's Host Committee, as an orientation leader, and works as a student assistant in the Office of Media Relations. He attended the 2006 Cross Cultural Leadership Retreat sponsored by the Center for Student Leadership and Involvement, and in 2008 took part in the Alternative Spring Break program where he traveled to Louisiana to help rebuild homes for families affected by Hurricane Rita.

Lee is among 22 HSHP students selected to serve as interns with the Olympic News Service at the 2008 Summer Olympic Games in Beijing. He is a member of the executive board of Ithacappella, which took fourth place in the finals of the 2008 International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella held at Lincoln Center.
