The Vision of Do Anything Nice

Contributed by Ryan Salisbury on 08/19/08

New, Fresh, Exciting!

D.A.N. empowers students as well as the broader public to improve their local community. With the support of honest, dependable, and conscientious members, D.A.N. develops communities that value kindness, education, and service. It is our dream to enliven the entrepreneurial spirit among students, raise equity in America's educational system, and help show the way to a better world via social progress through kindness.

Fun Fact: The IC D.A.N. chapter is the only student organization in the history of Ithaca College to develop into a 501(c)(3) tax exempt non-profit organization!

The club provides members with several different programming types, providing members with a choice with how to become involved within the organization.
1. IC Community Building
----Network with students on campus, and enrich the community we live in.
2. Ithaca Volunteer Experience
----Provides unique opportunities for attendees to involve themselves in the greater Ithaca community.
3. National Programs
----For those interested, members can involve themselves in National initiatives from D.A.N. Headquarters and develop leadership and entrepreneurial skills.
4. Club Fundraisers
----Gives members and friends of D.A.N. a chance to raise money for charitable causes.

This is one of several articles intended to inform the campus community of IC D.A.N.'s vision and mission. Check back next Sunday for more positive news! Next up is our programming and how YOU can get involved.

Brought to you by,

Than D.A.N. Team
