The fourth annual National Out for Work Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Ally (LGBTA) College Student Career Conference will
take place September 26-28 in Washington, D.C.

If you are interested in attending, please contact Lis Maurer (lmaurer@ithaca.edu) as soon as possible.

Interested students are eligible to have their conference registration fee waived, but will be responsible for other expenses incurred to attend (including transportation and hotel accommodations). Complete information on how to register under this special partership, and how to be put in touch with other students planning to attend, is available to those interested. Seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Ithaca College invites you to join lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and ally undergraduate and graduate students, college faculty and staff members, professionals, and LGBT advocates from across the country for the only non-industry-specific career conference for LGBTA students.

The two-day conference includes:

Panel discussions: Representatives from America's top organizations share their "coming out at work" stories and how their decision to be out and open has impacted their careers.

Presentations: Well-known speakers like transgender advocate Donna Rose address issues such as transitioning in the workplace.

Skill-building workshops: Get the skills to get the job; networking, resume writing, and interviewing techniques.

PRIDE Career Fair: Find an internship or part-time or full-time job with employers that are leading the way for LGBT equality in the workplace.
