What a great excuse to get together with friends and enjoy an early fall weekend on campus!

Friday night, September 19, we'll kick off the fun at the senior class happy hour in IC Square, where this year's choice for the senior class gift will be announced. Current seniors, faculty, and staff will have an opportunity to mingle with visiting alumni and members of the alumni board of directors. Afterward, all IC students are invited to bring their Bomber pride to the pep rally and bonfire on the Campus Center quad and get revved up for Saturday's big game.

Come cheer on the Bombers as they face the Hartwick Hawks on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. in Butterfield Stadium. Make sure to stop by the alumni tent on your way in for free pom-poms, mini-footballs, and face painting. And don't miss your chance to win some great prizes -- including a mountain bike and a fantastic package of Under Armour gear! Halftime will be packed with the Class of 2008 gift dedication ceremony, the introduction of this year's athletic hall of fame inductees, and recognition of the 1988 football team in celebration of the 20th anniversary of winning the national championship.

The athletic hall of fame reception and induction ceremony will be held Saturday evening at 6:00 p.m. in Emerson Suites (tickets are required). This year's inductees are Leslie Greene Block '98, Linda L. Buettner, Jo A. Burruby '84, John F. Gemmell '98, Walter J. Judd '56, Edward T. Mahoney '95, John Sacchi '66, and Sandra L. Van Benschoten.

To see the many other exciting activities planned for the weekend, go to www.ithaca.edu/alumni/homecoming and register for a chance to win an Ithaca College fleece jacket just by letting us know you're coming.
