World Suicide Prevention Day is Wednesday, September 10, 2008.

Carlo Trois and his wife, Gwen, lost their only child, Kevin, to suicide. Carlo's presentation, "The Call We Never Got," at 7:00 p.m. that night in Textor 101, addresses the experience of losing a loved one to suicide and the importance of suicide prevention.

Carlo and Gwen are local residents and generously give of their time to help others coping with loss.
