The Division of Graduate and Professional Studies is pleased to welcome Madelyn Mooney Williams as its Interim Programs Director.

In this position, Dr. Williams will be responsible for managing winter and summer sessions, professional and continuing education programs, pre-college academic programs, and extramural student advising. She is filling the position vacated by Carol Henderson who is now acting associate provost.

Williams holds a Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Mass Communication from the Pennsylvania State University and has conducted extensive research on media influence in environmental public policymaking. She had been on the Ithaca College faculty in the Department of Journalism as an Associate Professor since 2002. Dr. Williams has extensive experience in curriculum development, government public information, corporate communications, and publication and event management.
