Calling all first-year students! You are most cordially invited to the official kick-off of the INVOLVED program on September 15 at 7:30 p.m. in Klingenstein Lounge (in Campus Center, near the Grand Central snack bar and the information desk.)
INVOLVED is sponsored by the Office of New Student Programs and run by INVOLVED student leaders. The purpose of INVOLVED is to give you an opportunity to explore events and activities on and off campus with a group of your peers!
Every INVOLVED group is made up of 8 to 10 first-year students and is led by two INVOLVED leaders. (The majority of leaders enjoyed their INVOLVED group so much their first year, they have returned as a leader!) All you have to do is sign up to be in the INVOLVED group that fits your interests -- outdoor adventure, arts, athletic events, leadership development, wellness issues, and many others.
Best of all, you decide your time commitment and there is no monetary commitment -- all events are FREE. INVOLVED is a great way to see what Ithaca has to offer with a great group of people!

P.S. "INVOLVED" stands for "Intelligently Navigating Volunteer Opportunities and Leadership Values for the Educationally Determined." Don't worry, the program is a lot more fun than the name -- we promise!
