Want to Be a Student Justice?

Contributed by Tiffani Ziemann on 09/11/08

The Office of Judicial Affairs is now accepting applications for student justices for the 2008-9 academic year.

Student justices are an important part of the judicial process at Ithaca College. Justices serve as hearing officers in the College's formal conduct review board process.

To be justices, students must be in good academic and disciplinary standing and complete the application process. The time commitment varies depending on the number of boards per semester, but generally does not exceed 20 hours per semester, plus the mandatory training session.

To pick up an application, please stop by the Office of Judicial Affairs in the lobby level of the West Tower, or e-mail Tiffani Ziemann (tziemann@ithaca.edu).

Applications are due by Monday, September 29, 2008.

If you would like more information about the student justice position, please e-mail, call (607-274-3375), or stop in the office.
