Ithaca College

Chico Hamilton performs Sunday, September 21, 8:15 p.m. at Ithaca College's Ford Hall, celebrating his 87th birthday. Free and open to the public, it's a must-see dynamic event!

Chico Hamilton is performing with his EUPHORIA sextet, which includes Cary DeNigris on guitar; Paul Ramsey on bass; Evan Schwam on flute, tenor, and soprano saxes; Eddie Barbash on flute, soprano, alto, and baritone saxes; and Jeremy Carlstedt on percussion.

The concert is part of the Enduring Masters series, celebrating the inspiring work of older musicians. The series is a joint effort by the Gerontology Institute in the Division of Interdisciplinary and International Studies and the School of Music. The program is funded through the New York State Music Fund-Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors, which brings under-represented music to our region.
