Commit to Change: Campaign Success!

This fall, 798 students and 31 staff and faculty signed on to the environmental studies program's "Commit to Change" Campaign, presented at Convocation.

Over half of this year's incoming class have agreed to pledge a life of sustainable living and learning during their tenure at Ithaca College and beyond. The "Commit to Change Pledge" requires participants to agree to the following principles, which guide individuals' learning and actions towards a more sustainable future:

The "Commit to Change Pledge"

  1. Explore and take into account the social and ecological consequences of my decisions.
  2. Use what I learn at Ithaca College to improve the sustainability of the communities in which I live, learn, and work.
  3. Encourage others to do the same.
