Cornbred, a Nammy Award-winning Native American R&B band from the Onondaga Nation, will appear at the Pancho Villa restaurant (602 West State Street) on Friday, September 19, at 9:00 p.m.

This is an all ages show cosponsored by Ithaca College and the Department of Anthropology.

Cornbred play harmonica- and guitar-driven rhythm and blues that earned the group a 2007 Native American Music Award (Nammy) as best blues band.

The cover charge is $5. This kicks off a weekend of Native American events in Ithaca: the Native Homecoming Festival takes place Saturday, September 20, at Tutelo Park, and the following day brings the Peachtown Native American Festival at Wells College in Aurora.
