The Ithaca College AED Committee and the Tompkins County American Red Cross are offering a daytime CPR/AED class. With over 20 AED locations on campus, there are a lot of people interested in taking a CPR/AED class and we encourage people to take advantage of it.
The class will be offered during fall break on Friday, October 17, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Please bring your own lunch. The committee has difficulty scheduling campus classrooms during daytime hours for people requesting such a class, and would like to offer this class at the Red Cross on 201 West Clinton Street. There's plenty of street parking available, and it's very close to IC.
If your department is willing to pay for the class ($45), the Red Cross can bill your department directly or you can pay for the class yourself. All you need to do is call Tim at the Red Cross (607-273-1900, extension 14). This class is only open to Ithaca College staff, faculty, and students. You have one week to sign up, and then they will open the class up to the public.
If you have any questions, please call Kathy Farley at 274-3294.
