Nancy Rader presented a paper in July at an international psychology conference in Athens, Greece, along with Jennifer Parker '09, a Dana Intern who worked with Rader over the summer. Their paper, "Directing Infant Attention through Gestures during Early Word Learning," reported the results of two studies funded by the National Science Foundation.

Rader also coauthored an invited paper presented at a symposium on intermodal action structuring, which took place in Bielefeld, Germany, in July.
