The Student Leadership Institute (SLI) is a series of interactive workshops designed to help students develop and refine personal leadership skills. This campus program is coordinated by staff in the Center for Student Leadership and Involvement, which is seeking presenters from our campus community.

SLI is designed to help participants achieve success in their personal lives, interact more effectively with others, and prepare for the working world.

This year's program has a few exciting changes. Most notably they include a refreshed look, new logo, and some new program themes: "Leading Self," "Leading Others," "Leading in a Diverse World," "Leading for Action," "Leading Sustainably," and "Leading at IC." We hope you will consider sharing your knowledge and expertise with our SLI participants and sign up to present a workshop during the fall 2008 semester.

Past topics include "Time Management," "Ethical Leadership," "Leading for Change," "Developing a Personal Mission Statement," "Power and Personal Influence," "Values Clarification," and "Conflict Management." We're seeking new and interactive sessions on topics that you're an expert in -- be creative! Anything in the area of leadership development would be welcome.
