What were the effects of federal, state, and local housing policies in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina? Who was responsible for the displacement of tens of thousands of African Americans in New Orleans?

Come to the second talk of the "Chaos or Community? MLK and the Politics of Resistance" series, given by Paula Ioanide, assistant professor in the Center for the Study of Culture, Race, and Ethnicity.

Professor Ioanide's talk will take place Monday, October 6, 7:00-9:00 p.m., in the Klingenstein Lounge, Egbert Hall. The lecture will be followed by discussion at 8:00 p.m.

Hors d'oeuvres and beverages will be provided.
