Here are some figures who will be highlighted in the coming days:
- October 15: Anthony Romero, American Civil Liberties Union executive director
- October 16: Melissa Etheridge, singer and songwriter
- October 17: Gene Robinson, first openly gay Episcopal bishop
- October 18: John Waters, actor and filmmaker
- October 19: Robert Mapplethorpe, photographer
- October 20: Georgina Beyer, first transgender member of a national legislature
- October 21: Tony Kushner, playwright
