Kayak Open House

Join outdoor adventure leadership senior Greg Bennett for a beginner-friendly, discounted kayaking session on the inlet!

The "Kayak Open House" is this Saturday, October 11, from noon to 3:00 p.m. at the IC boathouse.

There will be two groups going out -- one at noon and another around 1:30 p.m. after the first group returns. The cost is $7 for the use of the kayak, paddle, and personal flotation device (PFD).

Make sure you bring a water bottle and dress for the weather: sunglasses or hat if sunny, fleece or shell if windy or cool, and wear shorts or quick-drying pants.

If you have any questions, please contact the Outdoor Recreation Equipment Center (OREC) office at 607-274-1917.

This notice is misleading. Thought it's for public or at least open for Ithaca College employees and their families. But Greg told us it's for students only. Wasted half hour waiting.
