Associate professor of politics Naeem Inayatullah presented (with David Blaney), "Savage Economics: Wealth, Poverty, and the Temporal Walls of Capitalism," on a roundtable dedicated to their book manuscript at the annual meeting of the International Studies Association (Northeast region) in Baltimore, October 3-4, 2008.

He also served as a discussant on a panel discussing a book by one of his former students, Himadeep Muppidi's The Colonial Signs of International Relations.
