Psychology department chair Barney Beins presented the keynote address in Atlanta at "Getting Connected: Best Practices in Technology -- Enhanced Teaching and Learning in Psychology." His talk was entitled, "A Walk Down Random Access Memory Lane: Where We've Come From and Where We Are Going.

The address highlighted the development of technology in teaching over the last century and the need to help students develop critical-thinking skills as they use whatever technology is emerging at any given time.

This conference featured presentations on current approaches to technology in teaching by psychologists from around the country and in Great Britain. It was sponsored by the Society for the Teaching of Psychology, the National Institute on the Teaching of Psychology, and the Kennesaw State University Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning.
