At the request of the Faculty Council, and in collaboration with the Faculty Council chair, provost, and registrar, the final grade submission deadline has been extended to December 23, 2008, at 10:00 p.m.
The campus will be officially closed at the end of the business day on December 23 and reopen on Monday, January 5, 2009. During this holiday break, registrar office staff will be accessible by e-mail (homer@ithaca.edu) for final grade-related inquiries.
Although the College will be officially closed, the registrar's staff will work remotely during this period to complete the series of individual processes required in final grade and academic status functions as well as answer e-mail. Please watch the registrar home page as it will have some tips and helpful information for faculty and the submission of their final grades:

Student grades ONLY (no semester and term calculations) will be available to view by:
Wednesday, December 24, 2008, at 8:00 a.m.
Once the remaining steps of processing are complete, students will have grades and full term and cumulative information available to view by:
Friday, December 26, 2008, at noon
This schedule is contingent upon the assumption that our systems are reliable and performing and that any technical problems can be resolved quickly by ITS.
