Tom Shevory and Patricia Zimmermann, codirectors of the Finger Lakes Environmental Film Festival (FLEFF), were invited speakers at Amherst College on October 16. They facilitated a "brainjam" with faculty and students on the concept of "the environment."

Their presentation, entitled "Environmental Sensualities," explored how the term "environmental" can be expanded and opened up into larger global vectors across various media platforms. Their brainjam included a curated selection of works from the past three Finger Lakes Environmental Film Festivals that spanned the analog, the digital, and locative media.

FLEFF is housed in the Division of Interdisciplinary and International Studies at Ithaca College.
