You probably already heard the exciting news about the increased College contribution to a participant’s Health Savings Account (HSA) for 2009. That’s right, IC is contributing an additional $500 to an employee's HSA whether they are currently enrolled in or opt to enroll in the HDHP for plan year 2009. Don’t you think you owe it to yourself to find out if this type of health plan could work for you? The additional $500 contribution by the College will be made for 2009 only.

All benefit-eligible faculty and staff are invited to one of two brown-bag Aetna Lunch and Learn sessions. The sessions will provide the information you need to make an informed decision about whether or not the HDHP/HSA is right for you. The meetings will take place on Friday, October 31st in the Ithaca Falls Room (previously the TV lounges at the Campus Center) and on Tuesday, November 4th at Klingenstein Lounge. Both sessions will start at Noon and last for one hour.

We hope you will join us! Feel free to bring your lunch. Drinks will be available.

Please RSVP if you would like to attend one of the sessions by calling 4-3245 or emailing benefits@ithaca.edu.
