IC Faculty Sarah Rubenstein-Gillis and Pilar Parra to Present "Mothering in the U.S."Contributed by Sarah Rubenstein-Gillis on 10/27/08 On Tuesday, October 28, Sarah Rubenstein-Gillis, assistant professor in the Department of Health Promotion and Physical Education, and Pilar Parra, adjunct faculty member in the Department of Sociology and research associate in Cornell's Department of Nutritional Sciences, will participate in a panel discussion and multimedia presentation at Cornell University, "Mothering in the U.S.: Medicalization of Birth and Other Challenges."
