Clinical associate professor and speech-language pathology clinic director Christine Cecconi and colleague Mary Emm, clinic director at the State University College at Cortland, presented the keynote address,"Generation X Meets Generation Y: Generational Differences in the Workplace," at the annual fall conference of Happiness House in Canandaigua, New York, on October 10.

Happiness House, an affiliate of the School of Health Sciences and Human Performance, is a multi-site agency that provides a wide range of rehabilitation and educational services for adults and children with and without disabilities.

This was the second invited presentation by the clinical educators that addressed the generational theme. A program on September 25 to the Central New York Speech-Language-Hearing Association focused on interactions between community-based supervisors and students engaged in internship and student teaching experiences.
