Faculty members interested in Blackboard, the online courseware system, are invited to attend a meeting with Information Technology Services (ITS) on Tuesday November 11th from 12:10-1 pm in Friends 309 . At this meeting representatives of ITS will discuss a proposal designed to help with content distribution for faculty members teaching multiple sections of the same course.

Faculty members who teach multiple sections of the same course have expressed a desire to be able to more easily import content into multiple sections. ITS has been working on developing a process to address that need. One suggestion is to "group" sections together so that content only has to be added in one place. Since there are advantages and disadvantages to this recommendation, we need your input and feedback!

If you are unable to attend this meeting and would like further information please contact Kathy Barbieri, kbarbieri@ithaca.edu or at 274-1000.

As a reminder, ITS is in the process of migrating all online courseware sections from WebCT to Blackboard. WebCT will no longer be available after January 11th. For more information about Blackboard training, see our workshop pages or stop by the Center for Educational Technology, Muller 104.
