I am pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Janet Wigglesworth as interim assistant provost, effective November 15. In her new role, she will oversee a wide variety of initiatives related to student success, as well as other projects and areas of responsibility within academic affairs.

Janet has been at Ithaca College since 1995, originally as an assistant professor in the Department of Exercise and Sport Sciences, where she received tenure in 2001. Her teaching assignments included courses in Statistics, Research Methods, Tests and Measurements, and Computer Applications.

During the summer of 2003 she joined the dean's office in the School of Health Sciences and Human Performance, and has since served as the associate dean for graduate and clinical services. I am pleased to welcome Janet to the Office of the Provost.
