Ann Kolodji, assistant professor of health promotion and physical education, presented her research, "The Educational Implications of College Students' Cultural Scripts Related to Sexual 'Cleanliness,' " at the 59th annual meeting of the Society for Public Health Education, October 23-25 in San Diego, California.

This qualitative research project explored the meanings college students attached to the concept of "clean" when applied to sexual partners. The results of this project can be used to challenge unreliable and conflicting scripts based in shame and stigma.
