Come learn to sew your own unique (FREE) reusable bag with Sew Green!
Sew Green is a not-for-profit Organization in downtown Ithaca. The Sustainable Communities course in the Environmental Studies department is currently working with Sew Green and its founder, Wendy Skinner, acting as a Student Board of Directors.
On Monday, November 10, the Student Board of Directors would like to invite the campus community to become a part of their vision for Sew Green; throughout the day, Skinner and the Board will be tabling in the Campus Center with more information about the organization, as well as having sign-ups for the Sew-In later that evening.
From 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. in IC Square, students will have the opportunity to learn some basic sewing skills, make their own unique bag (FOR FREE), and become a part of a growing sustainable community. No sewing skills necessary!
