Barbara Barnes, Assistant Director for Student Employment, has announced that she will be retiring from Ithaca College following the 2008-2009 academic year.
Throughout the Spring ’09 semester, Barbara will be transitioning out of her current role, allowing her to focus efforts on various projects aimed at enhancing future services of the student employment office. We’d like to thank Barbara for the leadership that she has provided to the student employment office and the College for the past 11 years.
As a result of Barbara’s impending retirement, we have taken a look at the structure of the Student Employment office and have made some organizational changes. Beth Blinn will now serve as Student Employment Manager and we hope to begin the recruitment for an Assistant Manager in the weeks to come. We are confident that these changes will have a positive impact on the services the student employment office provides.
