Students for Economic Equality is hosting a panel discussion and community dialogue about the changing economy. This is a space where students and community members can ask questions about how the crisis is affecting them personally and our society as a whole.

The economy is in turmoil, but what does it all mean? How will it affect students? How will it effect parents? How will it affect Ithaca, or grad school, or your job?

U.S. job losses went from 6.1% in September to 6.5% in November -- that's 20,000 jobs in one month. What are we going to do after college?

Students for Economic Equality is hosting a panel discussion with Professor of Sociology Alicia Swords; Pete Myers of the Tompkins County Worker’s Center; Rebecca Elgie of the Health Care Taskforce; Joseph Wetmore, owner of Autumn Leaves Used Books; and others.

The talk will take place in Taughannock Falls Meeting Room -- 3rd Floor Campus Center, Egbert Hall -- at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, November 19. Food will be provided. Come, eat and ask questions.
