Four IC seniors were recognized by Phi Kappa Phi for their outstanding academic achievements at a ceremony November 7. Each of the four was selected to receive on of the four Presidential Scholar Awards, presented annually to students with outstanding academic records, honors, and awards as well as excellent records of service.

The awards are named for the first four presidents of the Ithaca College chapter of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation's oldest, largest, and most selective all-discipline honor society.

This year’s award recipients are:

Shirley Hockett Award
Jill Cadby, Health Sciences and Human Performance
Major: Physical Therapy

Janelle Mackereth, Park School of Communications
