The Giving Trees will be out next week with lots of tags from which to choose! You may choose a tag to buy that special gift for a young boy or girl, or you may choose a tag to supply a box of household items to a family in need.

During the past few years we have noticed that it has been sometimes challenging for individuals and departments to purchase all of the items on the children's wish list, so this year we are doing things slightly differently with the anticipation of making it a little easier for both you and the committee.

We will be placing tags on trees for all of the children, which will supply specific information of a gift the child would like. There will also be tags requesting a box of household items that will be given to a family. This could consist of laundry soap, shampoo, toothpaste, tissues, etc. -- all of those items that add up so quickly ...

There will be four trees located around campus; Bookstore, Admission, Campus Center, and the Chapel. We believe this will not only make it simpler for people since they will be able to select the tag they feel is appropriate for them, but will also allow more people to contribute that may not have been able to do so in the past when all families were accounted for.

Trees will be out the week of November 24. The gifts, with tags attached, need to be returned to the Chapel by December 15. Take a look when the trees come out and let me know if you have questions.

Thanks so much!

Do they want the presents wrapped when they are dropped off at the chapel? Does anybody know?

We do not require that they be wrapped, but you may do so if you like -- just be sure the tag is attached to the gift.
