Would you like to do significant research with a faculty member? Is there a special project you want to do but don't know how to create it? Is there a job you feel you need to experience as you prepare for your future profession -- but no one offers that opportunity? The Dana Student Internship Program was established in 1985 through a four-year challenge grant from the Charles A. Dana Foundation. Ithaca College is one of only a small number of colleges to have received this prestigious grant. Over 1,000 Ithaca College students have taken advantage of this program. The program is designed to allow highly motivated, academically talented students (GPA of 3.0 or higher) with financial need (as determined by the Office of Student Financial Services) to earn a portion of their college expenses. The funds earned through the Dana Internship are included in the student’s financial aid package to help meet educational costs. Application materials are due in the Office of Student Financial Services, 330 Egbert Hall, by February 13, 2009. If you have questions about the application process, please attend one of our three informational meetings: Thursday, December 4, 2008 from 12:10 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. in Williams Hall, Room 222 Tuesday, December 9, 2008 from 12:10 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. in Williams Hall, Room 222 Thursday, December 11, 2008 from 12:10 to 1:00 p.m. in Williams Hall, Room 222 |
