The Action for AIDS committee invites you to attend this year's AIDS Memorial Quilt closing ceremony on Wednesday, December 3, 6:00-7:00 p.m. in Emerson Suites.
Ithaca College has hosted 16 panels of the AIDS Memorial Quilt for over ten years. Every year the Action for AIDS Committee is able to bring this humbling, international art display to our community because of the students, faculty, staff, and community members who volunteer to staff the Quilt.
This year's viewing dates are December 1-3 from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. each day in Emerson Suites.
We will celebrate the closing of this year's exhibit with a ceremonial packing of the quilt on December 3 from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. During the closing ceremony, President Rochon will give a short address followed by members of the Ithaca community leading us in remembering the past, celebrating the future, and making HIV/AIDS "our" issue.
