The Ithaca College Natural Lands Committee (ICNL) would like to take this opportunity to remind everyone to exercise extreme caution and avoid, if possible, traveling through College-owned wooded areas during hunting season.

All Ithaca College property up along South Hill (behind the Terraces and along Coddington Road) and out in Newfield (along Piper Road) is posted with "no hunting" signs. But even with the postings it is impossible to effectively patrol all lands owned by Ithaca College all the time. ICNL recommends not traveling in those areas until the hunting season ends December 9.

After the hunting season, anyone interested in visiting the College's Newfield property should contact Professor Jason Hamilton in the biology department to schedule a visit.
