Denise Nuttall Presents at "India and the World" Conference in Amsterdam

Denise Nuttall, assistant professor of anthropology, gave a paper presentation on tabla at the renowned "India and the World" conference in Amsterdam.

Denise Nuttall presented "Tracking the Intercultural: Borders, Fusions, and the Global Art of Tabla" at the conference, entitled "India and the World: The Performing Arts," held at the Department of Musicology, University of Amsterdam, and supported by Leiden University in the Netherlands.

The conference, held November 20-22, was part of the Amsterdam India Festival held that same month.
