A brief survey was conducted to find out how students at Ithaca College participated in the presidential election. Those results are now available online at www.ithaca.edu/vote.

Here's a quick summary.

86.8% of students registered to vote using their permanent address. Less than 1% of students who were eligible to vote indicated that they chose not to register.

77.8% of students voted via absentee ballot.

Here's how students indicated they obtained information about the candidates:

* 84.3% watched debates of presidential or vice presidential candidates
* 70.5% watched candidate videos on YouTube
