The Jewish studies program invites applications from students for the Golberstein Jewish Studies Travel-Study Grant for the 2008-9 academic year.

The grant is intended to aid Ithaca College students in broadening their understanding of the history and survival of the Jewish people through formal study involving travel (either domestic or international). Students are encouraged to travel to communities that have important historic significance to the Jewish people and to places they have never been before. The study or research must be conducted under the auspices of an accredited academic institution.

For more information or to submit a grant application, please visit the Jewish studies web site or contact Rebecca Lesses, assistant professor and coordinator of Jewish studies, at rlesses@ithaca.edu. Applications will be considered throughout the academic year.
