As of December 31, 2008, Microsoft Office 2003 for Windows will no longer be supported by Information Technology Services.

Office 2007 has been available as a free upgrade to Office 2003 on college-owned Windows computers since early this year. If you continue to use Office 2003 it will still work, but ITS will no longer provide workshops, quick guides, helpdesk support, etc. And remember, technology renewal Windows computers will automatically come with Office 2007 beginning with January 2009 renewals.

ITS strongly recommends that you upgrade to Office 2007 before January if you have not already done so. Here are some resources to help you get started with the new version:

• Come to an Office 2007 overview workshop (last one this year is December 17th!)
• Take an interactive online tutorial of Word 2007 at Microsoft.com
• Review the major new features in our What's New guide (pdf)
